Hi-tech Flagship Caravan Ranges 'Swift Elegance' & 'Sterling Continental' Expanded & Enhanced for 2017
The ranges feature 5 single axle models with improvements to the 480 and 565, which allows a tall slimline fridge to be added to both layouts. There are 2 twin axle models, the 645 and new 650 layout. The 650, a completely new layout to Swift Group last season, has a fixed rear island bed and mid-transverse washroom.
Enhancements include new soft furnishing schemes, an updated Swift Command system and a rear view camera. Chrome effect grab handles and more luxurious touches to the graphics scheme add to the premium feel.
The new Elegance soft furnishing scheme is called 'Falisolle' which promotes the Elegance's opulent feel with mink toned fabric used for the top of the backrest and front of the seat base cushion teamed with a textured oyster infill for the seating. There are scatter cushions in faux fur effect and patterned velour that ties in with the etched hexagonal pale gold and metallic oyster design of the curtains.
The new Continental soft furnishing scheme is called 'Tacilo'. A monochrome scheme, it features bedding with an open weave graphite fabric to the top of the backrest and the front of the seat base with a neutral, tactile, suede effect textured infill to the rest of the seating. There are scatter cushions in faux fur effect, and black with a silvery grey honeycomb pattern that tie in with the curtains. The scheme complements the off white locker doors with their smoked oak effect, gloss woodgrain insert and matt graphite kitchen doors perfectly.
There is also the SwiftShield furnishing option, a clever fabric with a suede like appearance that is treated during manufacturing to resist stains. It simply cleans using water and a damp cloth.
The innovative Swift Command control system introduced last season has been updated to include the option to subscribe to a pro-active Thatcham level 6 tracker. Remote control is possible using the Swift Command App that can be downloaded to Smartphones and Tablets which enables the user to remotely control and/or monitor certain vehicle systems either inside the vehicle using a Bluetooth interface (BLE), or remote from the vehicle (providing that there is a signal or wi-fi available).
The SMART HT construction is still unrivalled with its completely timberless bodyshell, including the floor. It is fully engineered to make it consistent, reliable and repeatable time after time.
