Out of the box each AIR tube of the Westfield Outdoors Carina 420 are inflated independently however, with the help of the optional Single-Point Inflation upgrade kit it is possible to inflate the Awning through a single inflation point, as the name suggests.
The Advanced Air System is a unique, next generation air tube system and an industry first, it has been created to give you the cost saving benefits of an independent (multi) inflation system with the option to add the optional full single-point inflation upgrade kit. Making this an ideal Awning for someone who is after a performance Air Awning with loads of features.
The Advanced Air System uses 3 layers for strength and stability. It has the internal bladder which is the part you inflate. You then have a PE cover that adds protection to your bladder and aids stability. You then have a sleeve which is sewn into the awning which adds a final layer of protection and stability. The advanced air system also benefits from an extra re-inforced PE cover. This makes the PE cover stronger, particually in the corners and bends. This not only improves the protection you get from the PC cover, but also the stability of the awning as the tube is held in place and position better

The Westfield Outdoors Anti-Weather System provides a host of cleverly thought out improvements and updates to provide your awning with better weather protection. There are additional weather panels sewn into the canvas at key points where the weather could get in. These panels are PU coated on both sides and taped on both sides to provide the ultimate in weather protection. There is additional guttering on external windows and zips to guide water away and all tie back points that are sewn-in are made from 100% waterproof PVC rather than standard webbing that can slowly absorb water and eventually lead to leaks.
