Basket / Checkout Guide

We've worked very closely with our developers to ensure that purchasing goods is as straight forward and intuitive as possible. To this end, we have produced this simple guide explaining how to add products to your Basket and Checkout successfully. Adding Products to My Basket

A)  Before you can add a product to your Basket there are a couple of things to consider. Firstly, some of our products may have variants. Product variants are really just product features, such as Colour or Size, which typically would have mulltiple corresponding options, such as Black and White or Small, Medium and Large. Each product can have a maximum of 2 variants assigned with an unlimited number of options.

In the event the product you wish to purchase has variants, you will have to select the option/s you want your purchase to have, before it can be added to your basket.

TIP! Some variants are purely cosmetic while others can reduce or increase the price of goods.

B)  Next, using the 'Qty' field, type the quantity of items you would like to purchase.

TIP! Look out for the 'Sold Per..' indicator for products sold in bulk or in lengths.

C)  Select the 'Add to Basket' button.

TIP! Some products are not suitable for shipping either because of their size, fragility or because they contain hazardous chemicals that makes them unsuitable for shipping. Products that are only available to 'Collect in Store' are clearly identified on relevant product listings and will not include a 'Qty' field or an 'Add to Basket' button.

D)  Selecting the 'Add to Basket' button will automatically transfer you to the 'My Basket' page.

TIP! Your virtual Shopping Basket status is located at the top of our website. When you select the 'Add to Basket' button your Shopping Basket status is updated to display the correct number of items and associated product costs.

The Checkout and Payment Process

The Check Out and Payment process includes 4 simple steps that have been specifically designed to make checkout and payments faster and easier.

Step 1. My Basket

1.1  The 'My Basket' page is easy to understand and provides users with the opportunity to review purchases, amend product quantities, delete items/purchases, continue shopping or 'Checkout and Pay'.

TIP! If you decide to continue shopping you can go back to 'My Basket' at any time by clicking on the virtual basket icon, located at the top of our website.

1.2  For the purposes of this guide we're going to assume you would like to Checkout and Pay right away. The first step you will need to take is to enter your postcode in the field under the title, 'Delivery Method'. If you don't have a postcode as in the case of the Republic of Ireland, you should select the Republic of Ireland from the Country selector.

1.3  Once you have entered the requested information select the 'Show Delivery Methods' button and wait for a list of delivery methods to be displayed. If more than one option is displayed, select your preferred delivery method from the available list. However, please be aware that in many instances, only one delivery method will be available.

TIP! Look out for the 'Expected' notification that advises when (under normal circumstances) you can expect your delivery to arrive.

1.4  If you have a Gift Voucher code please enter it into the 'Gift Vouchers & Promotion Codes' field and select the 'Apply Voucher' button and wait for the discount to be applied to the prices displayed.

1.5  Provided you are happy with everything, please select the 'Checkout & Pay' button.

Step 2. My Details

2.1  To save time, you can login to your account by selecting the link that reads, "To save time, click here if you have ordered with us before and know your password".

TIP! When using our website, it is not necessary to create an User Account to Checkout, pay for your goods or track your order status. However, creating a User Account will save you from having to enter your billing and delivery address each time you make a purchase from our website plus, you can track the status of your order via your account and view your purchase history.

2.2  Enter your contact information and billing and delivery address.

TIP! Use the Postcode lookup service to quickly enter address details.

2.3  select the 'Confirm Your Order' button to move on to step 3. Confirmation.

TIP! You can select he 'Edit Basket' button at any time to go back and amend the contents of your shopping basket.

Step 3. Confirmation

3.1  Confirm your personal details such as name, contact and billing and delivery address.

TIP! You can edit your personal information by selecting the 'Edit Details' button.

3.2  Confirm your Order including purchases and prices.

TIP! You change your order by selecting the 'Change Order' button.

3.3  Add any relevant Delivery Instructions? For example, if your address is hard to find or you have pets etc?

3.4  Select your preferred payment method?

TIP! International orders must be paid for using Paypal or via bank transfer.

3.5  Create an Account (optional). At this stage, all that is required is for you to add a password.

3.6  Select or deselect the newsletter sign-up (optional) check box.

3.7  Confirm that you have read and understood our Terms and Conditions (Terms and Conditions open in a new browser window).

3.8  Finally select the 'Proceed to Checkout' button.

Step 4. Checkout

4.1  Depending upon the payment method selected, you will be transferred to Paypal or Sagepay websites for secure payment card processing.

4.2  Upon successful payment you will be transferred back to an order confirmation page on our website.

4.3  An Order Acknowledgement email will be sent to the email address you provided during payment confirming your order.
