Tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) such as the Tyre Pilot STP116 are becoming more and more popular due to the economic and safety benefits they provide. Knowing the pressure of your caravans tyres will save you money and reduce the chances of a blow out or punture. Tyres that are not inflated correctly will wear out more quickly, affect fuel consumption and reduce the safety and stability of your car and caravan outfit. Hundreds of accidents are caused every year on European roads due to tyre blow-outs. The Tyre Pilot STP116 is designed for use on caravan tyres up to 116PSI.
Tyre Pilot has been designed to easily fit almost any tyre pressure valve stem. There are no complicated wires to install or any specialist tools required. Simply fit the Tyre Pilot Sensors to your caravan pressure valve stem. Install the stand alone display using the windscreen bracket included and charge via your vehicles cigarette lighter socket. Once the sensors have been paired with the display, your tyre pressures and temperatures will automatically be shown on the Tyre Pilot display. The display will run on battery for approximately one month between charges during normal use.
Hard Wearing: Tyre Pilot's two tyre pressure monitoring sensors are rigorously tested to ensure they work seamlessly in any weather conditions.
Alert Patterns: Once your vehicle is in motion, Tyre Pilot sensors will send tyre pressure and temperature data to your device every 5 minutes. Keep a check on any pressure drops or increases in temperature for added safety.
Temperature Display: As well as displaying the pressure of your vehicles tyres, Tyre Pilot can also display the temperature, alerting you quickly to any rises that can indicate potential tyre failure.
Monitor and Sleep Sensor Mode: If your vehicle does not move for 10 minutes, Tyre Pilot will eneter sleep mode to save battery life and power. Once your caravan moves again, your monitor will automatically switch to standby mode again.
