Shipping & Delivery

Most orders are sent by courier, on a 48 hour delivery. For orders place before 12.30pm (Mon-Fri) we endeavor to dispatch orders the same day. However, please allow up to 3 or 4 working days in case of busy periods.

Please Note: orders placed between 12.30pm Friday and Sunday will not be dispatched until the Monday.

If your order is delayed for any reason we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the reason and let you know the likely delivery date. Please bear in mind all carriage deliveries will require a signature upon delivery. If you are out when our carrier calls they will leave a card and you can phone to arrange a convenient time for redelivery.

Delivery Charges are per order, however many items you order.

Please check your delivery for missing items or damaged goods before you sign for them, if a driver refuses to wait please write it down on the delivery ticket or sign as unchecked. Signing for goods before they are checked makes it impossible to make a claim against the carrier for replacements.

In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items stated on the invoice, or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be advised by you to us within 24 hours of your receipt of the goods. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the item(s) as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for compensation or any losses caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.

This Privacy Policy covers Homestead Caravan Centre Ltd and its websites. You can browse our site(s) without disclosing any personal data to us. Any links to third party websites are covered by the third parties privacy policy.

We will collect and store information about you to allow us to process and fulfil any order requirements. We will collect and store any personal data you volunteer whilst using our services. The type of information we collect includes title and name, address, contact telephone number, e-mail address, and order and payment details.

Our website contains links to third party websites operating their own terms and conditions and privacy policies. Homestead Caravan Centre Ltd is not responsible for the policies of any linked third party sites.

We take privacy issues seriously and Homestead will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless we are negligent we will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.


Returns & Replacements

If you wish to return an item due to it being faulty, we must be advised within 24 hours of receipt of the item. We will arrange to collect the goods and deliver a replacement to you as soon as possible or refund the full cost of the item including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate. If you are in any doubt please contact mailorder@homesteadcaravans.co.uk.

If you wish to return an item for exchange or have decided not to keep it you must give written notice to us by e-mail, fax or post within 7 working days, giving details of the goods ordered and when delivered. We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate, excluding postage. All goods must be in a new and unused condition. Customers who return goods in an unacceptable condition may not receive a full refund. Refunds will be issued to you within 14 days from the return date of the goods. You will be responsible for returning of the cancelled goods to Homestead at your own cost, and must take reasonable care of them to make sure they are not damaged in the meantime or in transit, with manufactures packaging and labels intact. If you do not return the goods as required we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.


Rights of Cancellation

You are legally entitled to cancel your order at any time up to the end of seven working days after you receive the goods. A working day is any day other than weekends, bank holidays and other public holidays. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice us for example by email, fax or post giving details of the goods ordered and when delivered. Refunds will be issued to you within 14 days from return date of the goods.


Ordering

Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. All delivery charges are subject to change without prior notice. Every effort is made to ensure delivery is made within the estimated time. All goods subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within 7 days, we will inform you as soon as possible to advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders or items can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.


Payment, Pricing & Promotions

All Credit/Debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Switch / Maestro and Solo. We are unable to accept American Express. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder. Please note that we do not take payment until goods are ready to dispatch. We are pleased to accept orders by on-line transaction, telephone, post or in-store. Please do not send orders via e-mail as this is not a secure method.

 

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT (currently 20%) unless clearly stated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Prices shown are applicable only to purchases made via our website. Prices in store may be higher or lower than shown online.

No guarantee is given or implied that goods will conform in absolute detail to the description or illustrations shown.

Every care and effort has been made to ensure that the specifications are correct, however technical data, dimensions and weights serve as a guide only. Sometimes product specifications may change, in such instances we will do our very best to inform you when placing your order. All our sizes and measurements are approximate but we do make sure they are as accurate as possible.


Warranty

All goods supplied by us are warranted free from defects for 12 months, unless otherwise specified, from date of the original invoice, against failure to provide reasonable use owing to defective workmanship or materials. The warranty excludes faults arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, and negligence by you or a third party, use otherwise than recommended by us, failure to follow our instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without our approval.

If a fault does occur during this period, you should notify us in writing by e-mail, post or fax in order to issue you with a returns number. We shall arrange to have the item collected and then repaired or replaced after it has been inspected. Any delivery charges that might be incurred by you will be met after inspection of the item.


Ownership of Goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Homestead Caravan Centre Ltd until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.


Force Majeure

We will not be liable for non-performers of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company including but not limited to Acts of God, riots, civil commotion, fire and legislation. If, by reason of such circumstances, it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.
